Amendment No. 1 was offered  by Representative Porter:                          
                                                                               
Page 1, following line 8 through line 14:                                      
Delete all material.                                                          
Insert WHEREAS provisions should be made under the                          
American Heritage Areas Program in federal legislation to allow                
private property owners to reject or withdraw their property from              
such labeling without penalty, and to allow private property                   
owners to avoid such labeling entirely; and                                    
                                                                               
Representative Porter moved and asked unanimous consent that                   
Amendment No. 1 be adopted.                                                    
                                                                               
Representative Brown objected and withdrew the objection.  There               
being no further objection, Amendment No. 1 was adopted.                       
                                                                               
Representative Vezey moved and asked unanimous consent that                    
HJR66 am be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and                
placed on final passage.  There being no objection, it was so ordered.
